As a photography major, each student must work on an elaborate project that will run from the beginning of the fall semester to the end of the spring semester. My project is a comparison between camp Horne and Avonworth Community Park.

In the big body of work, you’ll be able to see in depth interviews for the multimedia piece talking about the history of the Joseph Horne Company as well as camp Horne. In addition, there will be Diptics of the old photographs from camp Horne and new photographs of what those areas look like.

Camp Horne was located in Kilbuck Township and it was dedicated to the workers for the Joseph Horne Company. The employees as well as their families could relax there and enjoy many different festivities that happened to the season such as Picnic day.
